How to store prompt values for a report in Cognos Connection

This can be done by setting prompt values in the Run With Options page.

Steps:

 1) Click on More on the Report that you wish to store the prompt values for in Cognos Connection.

 2) Click on Set Properties. 

 3) Now click on Run With Options Tab.

 4) At the bottom of the page locate Prompt Values section and click on Set Prompt Values.

 5) Enter the value for the prompt(s) and then click OK.

 6) Click OK again and now the prompt values are stored.

Note: In the future if you wish to change the prompt values you can repeat the above but instead of clicking on Set Prompt Values you can click on Edit or Clear prompt values options
